SINCLAIR, Neal Bruce
1953 – 2016
He was everyone’s friend. Captain Morgan’s ship has now sailed! The Top Hat’s “Rum Major” has danced his last parade. Neal took his last nap on April 16, 2016 amongst good company and good cheer. He will be sadly missed by his loving family and his many, many dear friends.

Born in Hamilton, Neal lived most of his life in Burlington. Neal was the ultimate waiter, first at Loyal George’s in Hess Village, and then at the Pearl Street Café in downtown Burlington. He wasn’t just a server, he was an entertainer who knew how to make dining fun. Neal was best known, however, as the high kicking dancer in front of the Top Hat Marching Orchestra. He looked like Fred Astaire out there and he brought such joy and laughter to people across North America.

But to his friends and family he will always be remembered for his kindness, his capacity to love, and his quick wit. How he could make people laugh! Neal was an integral member of so many families, he was genuine and generous and he treated kids like they were the most important person in his life. In fact, he treated everyone that way.
Please join us for a Celebration of Neal’s Life on Friday April 29th, 2016 starting at 7:00 p.m. at the Water Street Cooker (over Emma’s Back Porch), downtown Burlington, for lots of stories, lots of laughs, and lots of love. Cash bar and Rum
Sinclairs on tap.

Love you the MOST!

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Carpenter Hospice would be appreciated.

Neon for sale. Best offer.
