Beloved wife and best friend of Derek Hanney for 64 years. Beautiful loving mother of Christina Ciprietti (Chris) and Kathleen Whelan. Cherished grandmother of Justin Ciprietti, Dillon Ciprietti, Jarret Whelan, Amanda Whelan and Jack Whelan. Much loved sister-in-law of Brenda Newman (John). Devoted aunt of many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Pauline&rsquo;s Life will be held at the DODSWORTH &amp; BROWN FUNERAL HOME, BURLINGTON CHAPEL, 2241 New Street (at Drury Lane), Burlington, 905-637-5233 on Saturday March 12th from 1-4 p.m. We are forever grateful for the wonderful medical care provided by Dr. A. Davis and Dr. T. Bursey and our gratitude to all the staff on wards 4 south, east, 5 south and the ICU. Your extra efforts and attention never went unnoticed. Thank you. Pauline was a devoted volunteer to the Burlington community including a founding member of the Joseph Brant Hospital Palliative Care Visitation Program and having spent the last 35 years of her life delivering Meals on Wheels for the Burlington Red Cross. In lieu of flowers the family requests that you kindly consider a donation in Pauline's memory to a cancer charity of choice, the JBMH Foundation or the Burlington Red Cross.
