<div itemprop="description">GRANT, Tommy (Hamilton Tiger-Cats Football Alumni, CFL Hall of Fame inductee 1995, and member of the Windsor Sports Hall of Fame) <p> It is with great saddness that we announce the passing of Hamiton Tiger-Cats Hall of Famer, Tommy Grant, in London on Tuesday October 18, 2011. Tommy, beloved husband of Ida Mae (nee Gagnon) for 51 years. Loving father of Colette Noble, Lisa Martini (Luigi), Tommy Jr. (Lori), and Michelle Da Silva (John). Loved &quot;Podder&quot; of 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Survived by sister Peggy Fecteau and brother Lee Grant, both of Windsor. Predeceased by sisters Susan and Jacqueline. Dear son in law of Ann Gagnon. Son of the late Georgina and Tommy Grant. </p> <p> Words cannot describe the devastating loss of this extrodinary man. A successful all-around amateur athlete in his earlier years and an all-star football player, starting with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats from 1956-1968, achieving the prestigious &quot;Most Outstanding Canadian &quot; award and carrying many career records with him. He continued to stay a humble and greatful man who enjoyed his family and many friends. He will also be sadly missed by his fellow team mates, friends in Hamilton and Windsor. </p> <p> Good night Podder, sleep well. </p> <p> Friends will be received at the DODSWORTH AND BROWN FUNERAL HOME, &quot;BURLINGTON CHAPEL&quot; 2241 New St. (at Drury Lane) Thursday 3-5 &amp; 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass on Friday, October 21, at 10:30 am, at Holy Rosary Parish, 287 Plains Rd. East, Burlington.
