<div itemprop="description">YOUNG, Phyllis Janet (nee Foster) <br /> It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Phyllis Janet Young on Saturday November 17, 2012, after a courageous battle with cancer. Phyllis Young, in her 74th year. Phyllis was born on December 19, 1938 to her late parents Walter Leroy Foster and Ardena Thruber Milbury. Predeceased by her loving partner Douglas Fraser. Beloved mother of her children Danny and Beverly of Burlington, ON, Cathy and Kevin McKenna, Bedeque PEI, and Pam and Mark Goodwin, Dartmouth, NS. Also survived by her 10 grandchildren Patrick, Jeremy, Daniel, Robert,Jessica, Ryan, April, Matthew, Hillary, and Alex. Phyllis is also survived by her brother Donald Milbury of Nova Scotia. Predeceased by sister Annie Comeau (nee Foster), and step father J. Webb Milbury. <br /> The family would like to recognize the Carpenter Hospice staff and volunteers. They demonstrated amazing care and compassion, not only towards Phyllis, but towards family and friends. We thank you! <br /> Friends will be received at the DODSWORTH AND BROWN FUNERAL HOME &quot;BURLINGTON CHAPEL&quot; 2241 New St. (at Drury Lane) Tuesday November 20 from 5-8 pm. Funeral service Wednesday November 21 at 11am, at Burlington Baptist Church, 2225 New St. Cremation, with Interment to follow at Hampton Cemetery, Hampton Nova Scotia.
