YOUNG, Milton Duncan; 1924-2013
In Burlington on Sunday, July 7, 2013, Milton Duncan Young went to meet his wife Polly, brother Jimmy and sister Lorna. He is survived by his daughters Susan Young (Ron), Sharon White (Trevor), and grandchildren Jimmy and Cindel. He will be missed by many grandchildren and great grandchildren, both natural and extended families.
Milton worked for Lyman Tubeco for 50 years. He was in the RCAF during WW II. He was a long time member of Knox Presbyterian Church and sang in the choir. He bowled, played golf and tennis. He loved to travel, especially Florida for 40 plus years; music, sports and live theatre.
Dad, we miss you. Love always.
Friends will be received at DODSWORTH & BROWN FUNERAL HOME "BURLINGTON CHAPEL" , 2241 New St. (at Drury Lane) Wednesday from 3-5 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held Thursday, July 11, at 12:30 pm, from Knox Presbyterian Church, 461 Elizabeth St., Burlington.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Diabetes Association, Knox Church, or charity of your choice.
