VARCOE, Lorne Clark; (P.Eng.; Veteran of WW II RCAF)
Suddenly and peacefully with family at his side on Monday August 31, 2015, at Joseph Brant Hospital. Lorne, in his 91st year, beloved husband of Madeleine Lacey for 67 years. Loving father of Laurie Varcoe (Geri Buckley), Scott Varcoe (Liz Gilthorpe-Varcoe). Dear Grandpa of Braden and Ryland. Fondly remembered for his great sense of humour, outgoing gregarious nature, and zest for life.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life Event will be taking place on Saturday September 5, from 2-4 pm, at the Village of Tansley Woods-Fireside Room, 4100 Upper Middle Rd, Burlington. Words of Remembrance will be shared at 3:00 pm.
Instead of flowers, please consider a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or charity of your choice.
