WISEMAN, Lloyd Arthur
Passed away on April 26, 2015 at the age of 92. Beloved husband for seventy years of Ruth. Dear father of Wesley (Janis), Josie and Gail. He was a grandfather of ten grandchildren and great-grandfather of nine great-grandchildren. Lloyd was a long time employee of the CNR in Montreal and upon retiring, he and Ruth moved to Burlington. He enjoyed a life-long love of hockey and could be found in arenas throughout Quebec and later in Burlington. Lloyd was a veteran of WWII where he spent six years in service overseas. He participated in the Invasion of Normandy and the liberation of France. There will be a gathering at the DODSWORTH & BROWN FUNERAL HOME- BURLINGTON CHAPEL (2241 New Street at Drury Lane 905-637-5233) on Monday, May 4, 2015 from 1 pm to 2 pm followed by a graveside service at Woodland Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Last Post Fund would be appreciated by the family.
