<div itemprop="description">PACE, Gordon Marshall <br>August 24/1938- July 7/2016<br>It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gordon Marshall Pace after a short but courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, July 7. Gordon, who was a longtime resident of Oakville, was born in Windsor to John and Olga Pace. He was one of the original partners in AFA Forest Products and when he wasn’t busy plying his trade professionally, he was busy at home in his shop. Over the years, Gordon became quite a craftsman with his woodworking abilities. He’s survived by his wife Dorothy, sister Dawn Lucas of Vancouver, son Kelly (Sonia), daughter Kim (Max) and his 4 grandchildren Jonah, Sophie, Erik, and Willy. He’ll be greatly missed by all! The family would like to send out a special thank you to Dr Graham and Karen who were absolutely wonderful throughout this ordeal. We’d also like to thank the CCAC nurses who came to the house along with all the staff at both Credit Valley and Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospitals. A Time to Remember Gordon’s Life will be held at the DODSWORTH & BROWN FUNERAL HOME- BURLINGTON CHAPEL (2241 New St., Burlington 905-637-5233) on Tuesday July 12 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. DUE TO CONSTRUCTION USE CAROLINE STREET ENTRANCE.
