<div itemprop="description">Lockhart, Edward Francis, (Frank) <br>Oct. 27, 1928 - Aug. 5, 2012 <br>It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Francis Lockhart, Husband and Father at Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital in Burlington, Ontario on Sunday August 5th, 2012. Beloved son of, and predeceased by: Hazen Burns Lockhart and Marion (Weir) Lockhart. Survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Norma Lockhart and children: Janice Thompson (David), David (Helen), Eleanor Jodway (Ron) and Douglas (Julie); stepsons Ron Crawford (Judy) Steve Crawford (Mary), and Glen Crawford. Also survived by: brothers, Richard (Etta), Burns (Dorothy), David (Lynne), Bruce (Carolyn), and sister Joanne Western (Larry), brothers-in-law: Doug Nantais (Mary) and George Nantais (Ineke). Predeceased by wife, Phyllis Rose (Nantais) Lockhart, brother Harvey Lockhart, and stepmother Vivian (Brown) Lockhart, and many loving aunts and uncles. Francis is also survived by 9 grandchildren; Jon, Erin (Paul), Stephanie, Andrew (Jessica), Nick (Charlene), Amanda, Jordan (Jennifer), Douglas, Matthew and great-grandchildren Adam and Connor. Francis was a long-time Member of Local 205, the Painters Union, in Hamilton Ontario. He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, and friends. The family will receive friends at the DODSWORTH & BROWN FUNERAL HOME, BURLINGTON CHAPEL, 2241 New Street (at Drury Lane), Burlington, 905-637-5233 on Thursday August 9, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow in the Southall Reception Suite. Interment Woodland Cemetery.
