Eva passed away peacefully on June 17, 2016 at Joseph Brant Hospital in Burlington in her 92nd year.
Reunited with her late husband Charles and son Stanley. Loving mother to Brian (Dianne) and Barbara Anne Lahey (James). Proud grandmother of Brett (Christine), Craig (Christine), Tara, Melissa (John), Scott, Grant (Tammy), Robyn. Great grandmother to Kevin, Haydn, Jennah, Sarah, Mason, Alison and Alexandre. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends in both Canada and England. Eva enjoyed many trips “across the pond”, and knitting baby blankets to donate to the McMaster Children’s Hospital.
There will be a Time to Remember Eva’s Life at the DODSWORTH & BROWN FUNERAL HOME BURLINGTON CHAPEL on Friday June 24 from 10 am to time of service at 11 am in the Chapel. Interment to follow at Burlington Memorial Gardens. Donations to the Leprosy Mission Canada would be appreciated. On-line condolences may be made at www.dbburlington.ca
